According to the international standards demand, CSMC established ISO14001 Environment Management System and OHSAS18001 occupational safety management system in September 2002, and certified by DNV. Through establish and implement ISO14001 environmental management system, promote environmental management level, abide by the laws and regulations related to environmental protection, and take full account of their impact on the environment in the company‘s production and business activities, reducing environmental load and effective to ensure that the company energy conservation, recycle waste and reduce operating costs. At the same time, also enhance the environmental awareness of employees, establish the company‘s international image, and gain access to international markets "Green Passport" . Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive Certification and Sony Green Partner Certification
CSMC obtained the certificate of RoHS management system by the world-renowned certification body DNV (Det Norske Veritas) in September 2006. Through the RoHS Directive, CSMC can ensure that all the CSMC‘s products meet the European Parliament and the EU Council in January 2003 by RoHS directive.
CSMC obtained the "Sony Green Partner (Sony Green Partner)" certificate in November 2007, and became a Sony Green supply chain partners officially, it indicated that CSMC as an environment-friendly enterprises and fulfill the mission of environmental protection.
