At CSMC, we consider employee health & safety to be of primary importance while protecting the environment is a responsibility to our investors, our customers and the communities in which CSMC operates its facilities. To execute these responsibilities, we have developed and are managing programs that reflect CSMC's sincere commitment to employees, the community and environment.

CSMC has achieved ISO14001 status, the environmental management system certification that demonstrates to an independent third party auditor that we have effectively implemented and are maintaining an environmental management system that meets or exceeds standards set by the ISO 14001 organization.

CSMC has also adopted the RoHS directive (Restrictions on the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) which bans the use of certain unsafe materials in electronic products sold in Europe.   We have taken the necessary waste management and recylcing steps for compliance to RoHS directives and are certified by third part auditors.

Employee and community social well being is a core management belief throughout China Resources business units as echoed in our parent company's theme of "Better Life Together".   We believe in conducting business with high ethical standards and encourage employees to raise concerns on local charity needs and potential society and nature improvement opportunities.
