On June 2-3, CSMC Technologies Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CSMC") participated in Shenzhen creative application exhibition of Shenzhen integrated circuit and laid a 36m2 exhibition platform in the industrial supporting area. Meanwhile CSMC held "A Seminar on Win-Win China’s Emerging Application market" on the site on June 2, and there are more than 100 visitors from the companies in the fields of electronics manufacture, IC design, System scheme, etc.
With the topic of "Win-Win China’s Emerging Application market" in this seminar, Elvis Deng, the President of CSMC, made a speech at the opening ceremony: currently, the main power to drive the growth of analog IC market is being transformed from commonly portable and wireless fields such as cell phone and multimedia player to new emerging application fields as energy, transportation, health care and security. This field is stimulated by the factors such as the China’s economic revitalization program and the global concerned low-carbon economic model, so the upcoming market has a promising future, and by tightly grasping the market pulse, CSMC is now actively focusing on solution of developing emerging application market and trying to establish close relationship with more customers at home and abroad.
Xu Xiaotian, the Deputy Executive Director of China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA), attended the seminar and made a speech. He highly appreciated the progress made by CSMC in development of 6-inch and 8-inch process technology and also stated that the twelfth five-year period is the critical stage for China’s semiconductor industry and CSIA will support each enterprise to develop its own business, especially that chip foundry must consecutively develop new technologies and closely communicate with design industry and integrate machinery suppliers, so as to push the semiconductor industry chain to develop more healthily and completely. By doing this, the enterprises can develop themselves faster and finally make the semiconductor industry have a longer progress.
At the seminar, CSMC gave a brief of the company and its processes to visitors, and intensively made a detailed explanation of solution of green energy, semiconductor display IC process platform and IC process platform for digital TV. Additionally, Steven Pan, the advanced analyst of Shenzhen Semiconductor Industry Association, was invited to deliver a wonderful speech on "The Latest Situation of Electronics Industry in Pearl River Delta and Opportunities of Domestic IC". Through this seminar, CSMC expected to be recognized by more semiconductor users, making its skilled process platform and quality services be fully utilized, and finally achieving a win-win situation with customers.
